Holly Wharton
Bio
Holly Wharton currently serves as a K -12 Literacy Coordinator with Fort Worth ISD.
She holds a Master’s of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Tarleton
State University. Her early work with childrenin the mental health and non-profit
sector sparked her passion for serving students in the schools. In 2011,she transitioned
to education where she taught fourthand fifth grade students in English Language Arts
and Social Studies for six years. Holly then served as an Instructional Coach for
elementary campuses for two years before transitioning into her current role. The
belief that Literacy is the key to unlocking the potential that all students hold
is what grounds her in the work.
