Research & Outreach
Research. Engagement. Progress.
In the College of Education at TCU, you’ll have a chance to be involved in impactful research, engagement and learning while moving the field of education forward.
The Andrews Institute
The Andrews Institute provides an environment for innovation and change in mathematics and science education through research and teaching by TCU faculty and students. The faculty also collaborates with other organizations to provide outreach in the community through workshops, community events and programs for teachers and children.
ANSERS Institute
The Alice Neeley Special Education Research and Service (ANSERS) Institute works in conjunction with the TCU laboratory schools – Starpoint and KinderFrogs – to create and coordinate professional development opportunities for local teachers, informational sessions for parents and learning experiences for students interested in becoming special education teachers.
Center for Public Education
The TCU Center for Public Education (CPE) acknowledges education as a civil and human right as well as a public good, and puts resources into the community to help high school students find their path to college. The Center builds collaborative partnerships, engages in a variety of initiatives, and promotes research about related and relevant issues.
TRIO Programs
The TCU TRIO Programs (TRIO) are federal outreach and student service programs designed to identify and provide college opportunities that motivate and support underrepresented students. The TRIO Programs have played an important role on the TCU campus and in the local community for more than three decades.
College Advising Corps
Make an immediate impact in the community by helping underrepresented high school students find their path to college and beyond.
