The COE Research & Pedagogy Festival is an annual event highlighting the research and creative activities of undergraduate and graduate students in the College of Education.
Undergraduate Festival: Wednesday, April 5, 4-5:30 p.m.
Graduate Festival: Thursday, April 6, 4-5:30 p.m.
Both Festivals will take place in the Palko lobby and have light refreshments. Posters will also be available online for viewing.

Student research must be reviewed if the student is collecting data (e.g., tasks, interviews, videotaping, tests, observations, etc.) from human participants, or if they are administering a treatment of any kind to human participants.
Work closely with your Dissertation/Thesis Chair to write, review, and edit the IRB protocol. Your Chair should submit the IRB protocol, as one document, to the University IRB. For submission due dates, please refer to the TCU IRB Website.
What is 3MT®?
Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is a research communication competition developed by The University of Queensland, which challenges research graduate students to present a compelling oration on their thesis/dissertation topic and its significance in just three minutes while using language appropriate for a “non-specialist” audience.
Why participate?
3MT® will help students prepare an “elevator pitch” for their research, which is useful at professional conferences, presenting at the College of Education Research and Pedagogy Festival, in job interviews, etc.
