Professional Aviation

As the field of aviation continues to diversify and expand, the demand for trained aviation professionals continues to grow. TCU and the College of Education are proud to offer the first 4-year-degree in professional in North Texas, home of one of the most powerful aviation hubs in the world. With concentrations in both Aviation Administration and Professional Piloting (coming Fall 2027), this program will provide students with a clear pathway to becoming an aviation professional, including hands-on preparation and real-world access to training.
Students are required to take the B.S. in Professional Aviation Core Curriculum, as outlined below.

The Aviation Studies minor provides students with a broad introduction to the field of aviation, including exposure to aviation operations, management, safety, and workforce opportunities. The minor is designed to complement a variety of majors by equipping students with foundational knowledge of the aviation industry and its global impact.
