Bio

Airam RuizAiram Ruiz has obtained a Master’s in Education Administration from Texas Wesleyan University, Fort Worth Texas.  She has been working in the educational field for 21 years.

She has been serving the learning community in many capacities such as a dual language teacher in both elementary and secondary levels, leading bilingual summer school enrichment programs for English language learners as well as designing and delivering professional development that is based on current research and best literacy instructional practices.

Her passion resides in the provision of equitable and enriching learning experiences for all students to ensure their global and sociocultural competence that grant them access to college and career opportunities and, furthermore, a prosperous participation in society.

Currently, Ms. Ruiz supports literacy initiatives at campus and district level in her role as a K-12 Literacy Coordinator for the Fort Worth Independent School District.
